Hi. I am new here. I am researching WLS at the moment. I am 328 (down from 378), and have a goal of 180. I want to know has anyone out there had surgery that was this heavy? I am proud of my wt. loss so far with the weight loss group, TOPS, but part of me wonders if wls is the answer or not. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Thanks and God bless.

There have been plenty that had this surgery that were far over your current weight.  We've known many that were 500 or even 600 lbs.  It's a life changing procedure.  For Dan & I, we wouldn't trade this whole experience and we would do it again in a heartbeat!  We had our surgeries the same day and lost 300 lbs between us.  A year later my Dad had the surgery as well and he lost 120 lbs.  LOL . . it's a real family thing for us.
