I just started my stage 3 and I am very glad because the pure liquids were killing me. The problem that I am having is that when I drink it seems like I drink alot before I feel full. I am now able to eat cream of wheat, oatmeal thinned w/skimmed milk,sugar free yogurt, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, sugar free pudding,jello,sorbet,applesauce,posicles,custards. Diluted juices,no-pulp orange juice, baby food fruits,protein drinks,isopure,baby food meats or pureed meats,pureed nonfat refried beans, pureed lentils,strained low fat cream soups, broth, bouillon, thinned mashed potatoes.
This is whats on my list. I have been eating and so far nothing has made me vomit or feel sick at all. My problem is that I eat and I do not feel full. I am satisfied but I do not feel like I'm full. Also does anyone have a list of foods with there protein value.

Think about it . . if you're satisfied, then you're full. We all spent so many years ignoring what true "full" felt like. More than likely what you are equating to "full" was in actuality over full.
Weighing and measuring your portions will help keep you on track. Liquids pass through the pouch much quicker than solids and the density of foods makes a big difference on how much as well.
One thing we noticed on your acceptable food list is, other than the protein drinks and cheese, it's all high carb. For us, by day 15 we were onto proteins like soft grilled fish. We've said this literally thousands of times, but ask 1000 different surgeons and you'll get 1000 different eating plans. What that spells out is that there's no one right or wrong eating plan. There are better choices than others though. It's all about healthy choices and easing foods back into that pouch. It's also about taking advantage of the honeymoon period (first 12 - 24 months) to readjust the eating and develop new habits.
Glad to have you with us. Spend some time reading through the various sections (FAQ's, Protein, Vitamins, etc.) and you'll find lots of answers or ideas as well.

Are you aware that there is a new patented ceramic plate that keeps food hot so that you can enjoy your food slowly and get satisfied with less food intake. it is "heat retentive"

We've seen them but didn't really see a need for us personally. We're not really eating any slower than a typical meal. Just a lot smaller portions. Plus, they typically come in a size that's too large for WLS patients anyway. Just not worth the expense.

They are 10.5 inches in diameter and stay hot for 30 minutes with just one minute preheating time in a full size microwave oven, I use them every day; you need to eat slowly to give time to your sensor in your brain to realize you are not hungry anymore.
Drink a full glass of water before you start eating and eat slowly, not just small bites.

My nutritionist said not to drink anything 30 minutes before or after meals. If you fill your stomach with water before you eat, you will not be able to eat enough of the good stuff (protein). If you drink right after, you risk overfilling or dumping. This advice has worked for me.
